Being Prepared for a Different Kind of Emergency

The First Responder Smart Card Program is a way to help first responders (police, firemen, ambulance) before they show up at your home that someone in the home may have a special need. This program is for individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disability. Special needs for the First Responder Smart Card Program include a range of conditions involving Emotional or Behavioral disabilities, Mental Illness, and/or Developmental or Cognitive disabilities.
